Serving Fountain Hills, Arizona
Kitchen, bathroom, and whole-home remodeling for Fountain Hills homes, with Town permits and hillside lots planned in from the start.
Fountain Hills sits just east of Scottsdale, below the McDowell Mountains. McCulloch Properties founded it as a master-planned community in 1970, the same year its famous fountain was built, and the town incorporated in 1989. It covers 24 square miles and is home to about 24,000 people.
Elevation runs from about 1,520 feet at the fountain to 3,000 feet in the higher neighborhoods, and many homes sit on sloped lots with views. That shapes remodeling in practical ways. Access for materials, drainage, and where an addition can go all depend on the slope. Homes built over five decades also mean a wide mix of layouts, from the town's early houses to newer custom homes on the hillsides.
Replacing original layouts and finishes with storage, lighting, and fixtures that suit how you live now.
Larger windows and better connections to outdoor spaces, planned around the structure and the afternoon sun.
Step-free showers, wider doorways, and single-level living for owners who plan to stay in their home for years.
Extra living space where the grade, drainage, and access shape the design as much as the floor plan does.

Fountain Hills is its own town, so building permits go through its Building Safety division rather than the City of Scottsdale. Building Safety handles permit applications, plan review, and inspections for homes and other structures. You can reach it at 480-816-5100 or through the Town's online permitting system.
If your home is part of an HOA, the association may need to approve exterior changes too. We confirm both before the schedule is set.
Tell us what you'd like to change in your Fountain Hills home, and we'll talk through the Town's requirements and a sensible starting point.
